Lakshmi says, “Not only on Dussehra, but Jalebi is a part of many dishes prepared on a Holi and many people like to eat it to break in their fast after in the festivities of the Navratri. Therefore, it becomes even a more important to find whether it is good for your health or a not!” Let’s take to a look at how one of our favorite Dussehra special recipes can be affect  to our health.

Here are benefits of the eating a doodh jalebi:

1. Treats migraine

This one is maybe a hard to believe but eating a jalebi with a milk can be help to reduce to your headaches. This is due to the nutrients present in a milk.

Dussehra recipe: Know how to make a jalebi at the home

Ingredients

1 kg maida

500 gm ghee

350 gm curd

1/2 teaspoon of edible food co-lour

1 pinch baking soda

Sugar

Water (As per the requirements)

Ba-dam, kahu, saffron and pista (For a garnishing)

Procedure

Step 1: Firstly, take out in the flour in a large bowl, then add to a curd, baking a soda and food co-lour to it and prepare to a thick batter.

Step 2: If the batter is a too thick, you can be use to a water if needed.

Step 3: Now a cover in this batter and leave it for at the least 7 to 8 hours.

Step 4: To prepare a sugar in a syrup, first pour water in a vessel and put it on low flame. Now add to a sugar as a required and let it cook on a medium flame.

Step 5: Increase in the flame of the gas to thicken in the syrup. Then turn off the gas. You can be add to a 4-5 drops of the rose essence in it.

Step 6: After in the yeast rises in the batter, mix it well. While to a keeping in the flame of the gas medium, put ghee in the pan and leave it to heat up.

Step 3: Now to a cover in this batter and leave it for at least 7 to 8 hours.

Step 4: To prepare a sugar syrup, first pour water in a vessel and put it on low flame. Now to a add sugar as a required and let it cook on a medium flame.

Step 7: Now take out in the batter in a thick cloth or a jalebi maker. Keep in mind to put the jalebi in the pan only when it is  a completely hot.

Step 8: Pour in the batter into the pan by a rotating in the hands in the shape of the jalebi.

Step 9: Let it brown well from a both sides. Now take out in the jalebi and put it in the syrup.

Step 10: Keep it in the syrup for a 2-3 minute, then take it out on a plate. Ensure that in the sugar syrup is a warm and not very hot.

Step 11: Garnish in the jalebi with a pistachios and saffron.
